Our story started in 1989, when Steve Brackenridge moved to Warkworth and started building baches at Omaha beach. Tony Borich took over in a management capacity in 2014 and has continued Steve’s commitment to quality and value.

Since then, we have expanded our service offerings to deliver homes and commercial property across the Auckland region. Alongside this, we still build beautiful baches at Omaha beach.

We strive to maintain our core values as the Auckland region grows at pace. We will do this by continuing to deliver quality, well-crafted homes for a range of sizes and budgets.
Tony Borich – Managing Director
Tony has over 16 years experience working in the New Zealand construction industry and is a Unitec and Massey University graduate, with a degree in construction management and postgraduate diploma in business.
Tony is passionate about the construction industry and particularly enjoys problem solving and working on complex and challenging projects. He takes pride in creating honest working relationships with all clients. With a keen eye for detail, Tony has a personal involvement in all Brackenridge projects.
Tony grew up in Leigh, north of Warkworth and attended Mahurangi College. He now lives in Warkworth with his partner and daughter in their home of which he built himself as a ‘weekend project’. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family or sailing, whether it be a leisurely sail or participating in a fast paced yacht race.
Steve Brackenridge – Director
Steve has a lifetime of experience in the construction industry across multiple disciplines. His experience includes 2 years as Auckland president of the Master Builders Association. While stepping back from day to day operations, Steve provides a wealth of knowledge in an advisory capacity.
In his spare time, he enjoys getting away in his RV and is a keen motorcyclist.
Dane Waring – Construction Manager
Dane has over 10 years experience in the construction industry. He has completed a Certificate of Carpentry, Bachelor of Design and Masters in Urban Planning and enjoys working closely with clients, architects and various stakeholders.
Dane has experience across high end residential stand-alone homes, high-density terraces, and apartments. He enjoys being involved throughout the full lifecycle of projects including both the design and construction phases. His time on the tools and as a site manager was invaluable in developing his skill set as a construction manager.
In his spare time, he enjoys getting outdoors and playing a few rounds of golf, surfing and spending time with his family.
Alan Borich – Project Manager
With over 18 years in the building industry, Alan has gained a wealth of experience across multiple trade based disciplines. A plumber by trade, he also has 7 years experience as a builder, during this time he has gained a broad knowledge of building services and systems and is our go to problem solver.
In his spare time he enjoys fishing, getting out on the water and socialising.
